The online “Change and Sustain the Environment” seminar talk aimed to call attention to climate change and how to sustain the environment. We invited two speakers Ms. Firdaus Nisha Muhammad Faizal, the CEO of Ecocentric Transitions, and Dr. Matthew Ashfold, a UNM lecturer from the School of Environmental and Geographical Sciences. Ms. Firdaus Nissha Muhammad Faizal spoke about the embarkation of the transition town movement, while Dr. Matthew Ashfold shared about his research on climate patterns and the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) event. 2 s-CPD points were awarded to the UNM students who attended the talks.
