Endangered Species in Malaysia Seminar Talk

Endangered Species in Malaysia Seminar Talk

The virtual “Endangered Species in Malaysia” seminar talk aimed to raise awareness and educate participants on endangered animals such as elephants and turtles in Malaysia. We invited Dr Wong Ee Phin, a UNM lecturer from the School of Environmental and Geographical Sciences, to share her insights on the Malaysian elephants, and Mr Jason Gan, a representative from Lang Tengah Turtle Watch, to talk about sea turtle conservation and the project that his organisation worked on. From this event, we adopted 15 Painted Terrapin eggs, 72 Green Sea Turtle eggs and 17 Painted Terrapin Eggs.
