In collaboration with the Society of Fine Arts (SOFA), the virtual “Journal Collaging” workshop allowed participants to learn how to do journal collaging creatively. The objectives of this event were to develop participants’ artistry and to teach them how to make art using reusable items. Participants had to bring recycled or reusable items for the workshop. Aqilaa, a UNM student, was the tutor for this event as she shared her perception of creating a journal collage using different techniques. Students were encouraged to on their cameras to showcase their journal collage.
