UNM Gaming Society (GSOC) was first started in 2014 by a passionate group of friends with a love for gaming and a dream to foster and enrich a community for gaming in UNMC. Our seniors have done this and we strive to continue our tradition of sharing not only games, but also experiences within the UNM Community. We strive to create safe spaces for all gamers alike, from passionate, competitive gamers to the imaginative TTRPG enjoyers. From video games to board games, we have a wide selection available to both casual and veteran gamers. Just head over to H1B20 at 6pm to 12 am on weekdays! Our events include gaming tournaments, carnivals and all sorts of events relating to gaming, open to all veteran, casual and non-gamers to enjoy! We plan to collaborate with other clubs and societies as well as companies outside the university. One day, we hope to have our own eSports team to represent the university for competitions outside of UNMC. You want to be part of us? That's great! You can join us now as a regular member and be granted a discount on all fees for accessing our various consoles, or as a premium member to have free access to our impressive repertoire of games and accesss to our room before our opening hours. All members get unlimited gaming sessions in the Gaming Room at reduced rates and access to members-only events hosted by the UNM Gaming Society, and premium members gain unlimited gaming sessions in the Gaming Room, no rates applied!
